Advocacy Committee
The HSN Advocacy Committee and the PLAN Economic Justice Committee will next meet at 3pm, Monday July 21, at the PLAN offices in Reno and Las Vegas.

Membership Meetings
HSN membership meetings are the perfect opportunity to network with human services providers and the corporations and individuals who support them. Meetings are held over lunch from 11:30 - 1:00 and include sufficient time for networking as well as relevant program content developed by members for members.
The next HSN membership meeting takes place August 6, starting at 11:30 with a networking lunch, concluding at 1pm. Please note that the venue for the membership meeting has changed. We will no longer be at the Girl Scouts but rather at RTC, 2050 Villanova Drive, Reno, NV 89502. (under US 395 between Airport Plaza and Wooster High - call Lea Rogers on 335-1906 for directions if uncertain.) The meeting will be held in the board room. The venue has access for people with disabilities and parking on site plus at the Airport Plaza across the street. This will be the venue for future HSN membership meetings.
Greg Krause, Executive Director and Lea Rogers, Paratransit Administrator from RTC will discuss RTC transportation services including those for seniors and people with disabilities, funding challenges, potential service cuts, Blue Ribbon Committee recommendations and creative partnerships. The will also be an update on the transportation key issue area of the Washoe County Human Services Implimentation Plan.
As usual, we welcome members and non HSN members. Please RSVP to 353 2070 or humanservices@sbcglobal.net. A turkey, ham or vegetarian sandwich lunch is available at the membership meetings for $9. Let us know when you RSVP if you would like to order a sandwich.
