Announcements of Funding Opportunities

The 2010 RFP for the Community Foundation of Western Nevada’s Community Partnership Grants is available at www.nevadafund.org. Follow the “Receive” link. Deadline for submission is April 27, 2010, at 5 p.m. Applications must be physically present by the deadline in order to be considered. Please read the RFP carefully. If you have questions, contact me by phone or email. You’ll note that again this year the focus is on sustaining nonprofit services. Grant awards will be based on an organization’s innovative and continuing response to our changing economic climate. Successful proposals will reflect the applicant’s ability to make budget adjustments, while continuing to provide services essential to that organization’s mission.Grants will be awarded to organizations that serve northern Nevada and will be up to $5,000 for one year of support.
